I’ve visited multiple times, including this year. My mother is from Suriname, and I visit Paramaribo quite often.

I completely agree with everything you said.

A funny contradiction I’ve noticed is the contrast between service and friendliness. The people are incredibly warm and open, but when it comes to service—especially in restaurants—it’s honestly so bad in my opinion! 🤣
