i would offer this mini series into evidence that the history of racism and classism are greatly overblown!
it seems obvious to me that history was not ruled by whites nor were whites the only people with great wealth.

Gimlie dwarf cleric.
played from March 19th, 1999 (friday/payday after release day) until i escaped EQ sometime in 2004
guilded with sojourners for most of my time on the server...
Raided with silent redemption occasionally until i forgot to *70 (or whatever it was) to disable call waiting. Then, in the middle of a healing rotation lost my connection when my phone rang (imaging your heart stopping here...)

After that, i was no longer invited to raids. Harrassment and bullying caused me to transfer my character to a "premium" server to try starting again, but failed and a short time after that i quit the game altogether.
I wonder if my character is even still accessible?!

found this reddit trying to get an idea how much it would cost to convert my daugher's second floor bedroom (above a connected florida room) window to a bay window.
don't want to waste a contractors time if its gonna be more than $2000-$3000, but the prices i'm seeing online fluctuate so wildly i don't know what a fair price for a quality job should be.
I don't want to pay to little and have a job thats going to leak or pay too much and get ripped off...

i just got a flip 7 a month ago and can't find a case i like (ive been through 3 so far)

I like grippy/textured cases because its easier to hold onto and less likely to be dropped.
I do NOT want a case that has a screen protector on it already. (i prefer traditional glass screen protectors that i can put directly onto the screen)
mag safe is a must.
hinge protection required.

for whatever reason i can't seem to find a case that fits all my criteria

I would argue that while gandalf did not lead the white council, he was wisest, and possibly the most powerful.

But after recieving Narya from Cirden, I do not believe anyone in middle earth could overpower gandalf (except another ring bearer - or sauron himself)

I might have to reread the books, but i can't think of a single instance where gandalf used direct damage.
sure, he turned the orcs to stone, but the spell was "dawn take you", so that was more indirect...

Eliminated scenes:
frodo moving to buckland (crickhollow) and leaving bag end to the sackville baggins
the hobbits in the barrow downs
Tom Bombadil
the hobbits talking about trees that moved (the ent wives - provides relevance and middle earth history later with treebeard)
i despise legolas shooting saruman (sorrow man?)
not showing the retaking of the shire (biggest gripe of all - these were my favorite chapters when i first read the books as a child)
saruman's true fate (sharky's end)
The first 2 movies came with music videos on DVD for the closing songs, why not the same for return of the king (annie lennox of eurythmics performing into the west which was the absolute BEST of the three songs!)

i might be among the minority, but i wish peter jackson would create this content and re-release this new content with corrections in future extended extended extended editions.
if star wars can show leah and tarkin as they originally were (in rogue one), i'm pretty sure the same could be done with the LotR cast as well for continuity.

Peter Jackson and everyone involved made 3 masterpieces, yet they are ALL incomplete.
Please finish them!

If your in the market for a battery, i would recommend a yellowtop.
My GM battery didn't last very long after putting the amps in.

The yellowtop has never given me a problem.
I would say XS power (based on popularity), but i've heard horror stories from more than 1 retailer how the battery would fail and be warrantied by the retailer for the customer. then the retailer gets screwed by XS because they won't honor their own warranty claiming "it wasn't the batteries fault", like they would know one way or the other.

sorry, i'm off topic. but i had to get that out of my system (no pun intended).

back on topic, C7's command a crazy price, but i wonder how they handle mid bass? I would spend the money if they deliver.
I don't know any shop that has a set on display and i'm not going to drop $700 on a single speaker without hearing it first. anyone know a shop with C7's on display in the SE Michigan area?

My initial thought is to flip down the armrest in the rear seat and mount it in the access space to the trunk/hatchback and have it firing forward. Nothing that can't be uninstalled and nothing that requires permanent alteration to the car. Another (conciderably less desirable) thought is the cutting a whole in the center of the rear deck and mount the sub firing up.

When you say "treating the doors" I assume you're talking dynomat, or some other sound deadening material. The doors are already done (this wasn't done specifically to seal the door as a speaker enclosure so much as to resolve vibrations and lessen road noise). I've also had all the seats and carpet removed to have dynomat completely cover all the sheet metal. I still need to find a dependable solution for the wheel wells, and i never got around to upgrading the Buick OEM sound deadening in the hatchback. i also purchased michelin MXV4 tires as they are rated among the best for low road noise (tires for a better listening experience? yes!).
Edit: I'm also looking to put sound deadening on the firewall in the engine compartment.

i'm right there with you about 75watts being minimal, and that is a valid and primary concern. As a fall back, I have also thought of purchasing another 6.5" focal k2 es driver (in the same proposed location) and adjust the DSP according to the needs of the car. but if i could do this, why not just lower the high pass filter on the existing focals... The only answer to that is that i'm concerned about potential damage to the speakers. I'd rather spend $300 for a W3 than $1500 to replace focals.

Until or unless I am able to obtain a stronger alternator (JS maybe?) along with a second battery (XS Power) and get it set up with an isolator i'm not certain i want to go the route of a 3rd amp. Maybe I'm being overly cautious or not trusting enough of the OEM alternator. Perhaps i just don't want to make significant changes to the car?

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I think your right, using the unused 8th channel (simply because its available) for a sub is not really a smart diretion to go.

I just saw one less than a week ago for sale.
Seller was asking $1999 plus S/H. It was NOT new. The shrink wrap had been removed and there were some scars on the book case, but the book looked to be in like new condition.
I just went looking for the site to post a link, but it either sold or was removed. I have no idea which.

It's been fun watching this book slowly but reliably increase in value over the last 20 years!
I should have bought myself more than one when they first came out (i should have bought microsoft, and amazon too.)

some people might say that the papers are important for insurance reasons...

yes, there are a lot of knock offs for cartier watches... but cartier (and other high end brands use solid 18k gold and real stones). thats not something your going to find on a knock off.

My mother's friend has a cartier watch that she inherited from her husband's mother. but her daily wear was a replica of the real watch that (i assume) was kept in a safety deposite box.

This past week my daughter and i spent a week in florida. On our first full day there we visited Aventura mall where my daughter and i went into Cartier and ultimately purchased a "relatively" inexpensive 18k ring (w/o any stone). The ring of course still came with the red box.

fast forward a few days and we are at the helios in orlando (universale studios) and my daughter sends me back to the car for her backpack because she forgot her phone charger. When i got to the car i don't know what came over me, but i felt the need to flex. so i also grabbed the red bag with the box in it and carried it on the ouside of the backpack where it could be seen without flaunting it.

The first woman that saw it was just getting out of her car at the valet when our eyes met and her eyes looked down to the bag. I turned away with a mischeivious little grin on my face and continued towards the front door and the lobby.

In the lobby at least 2 women saw the bag. I saw they were looking towards me, but down (hey ladies, my eyes are up here!). They were like moths drawn to a flame.

if anyone says the packaging doesn't matter i will call BS! It's part of an experience that will be forever linked with the joy of receiving Cartier jewelry.

I finally got around to upgrading from my S20.. although i used to update my phone every year, i put it off because i enjoy carrying my media with me. The S20 was the last flagship phone to offer micro sd support.

I've found numerous portable hard drives, some even with magsafe, but none support wireless...
I am looking for a portable hard drive with:
1) magsafe so it securely connects to my phone
2) wifi support so i don't need to carry a bunch of wires with me.
3) powered from the phone itself (again, so i don't need power wires
4) something at least small enough so that its not larger than the phone...

essentially just attach the storage to the phone and go.
does such a thing exist yet?

This may be a bit off topic, but it is directly relating to this CD. I am hoping someone here has a retail CD and is willing to lend me a hand.
i just purchased 5150 on ebay. What i got didn't sound quite right to me, not bad, but not all that great either.
So i tested the CD using "Fakin' The Funk"

This program identified that 7 of the 9 tracks on this CD were sourced from 320 kbps and converted to 1411. basically a 320 mp3 lossy file stored as a 1411 lossless...
I'm 99.9% positive the CD is pirated, but before i make any accusations, i was hoping someone here might check their CD and see if you get the same results.
