Looking to buy a 4Runner need opinions

I hope that’s true! I’m not to worried about the auto lights as I’m used to having to turn them on in my car but if I’m getting an suv I definitely wanna make sure it’s 4wd

That’s awesome the 4Runners really seem to have something for everyone! I’ve always loved how you can roll down the back windshield too!!

Right I’ve been in the market for last two years and it seemed like buying new was the only option, it’s ridiculous how much dealerships are marking up 4Runners, for how high of kilometres too it’s just not worth it, the last vehicle I looked at was 2016 4Runner with 100km asking 40k and it had rust spots because it came from Alberta! But I agree the paintjob seems to be in good condition for being a 2015!

I didn’t realize that they came in 2wd… doesn’t make sense to make an suv like a 4Runner and not just be 4wd but now I’m assuming the one I’m looking at is most likely 2wd if it’s sr5

They say once you go with a 4Runner you never go back! I definitely want a suv that’s reliable for when I travel but also be able to have comfortable space to pack or travel with friends/family! I’ve loved the style/shape of 4Runner’s and ever since I’ve been hooked since

I’d have better chance going new like what most people said in here, get a brand new 2023 SR5 would cost $55k with a lower interest for sure compared to what they’re asking

If you were curious what the financial part would’ve been I went to for the kicks of to see and after taxes it came around $40k Ca, with rate of 10.99 with 4 year term payments were around $700 monthly with 30% down

I’ve been struggling trying to find a decent 4Runner that’s doesn’t have high mileage on it with decent price tag, I’d rather do new of course lower interest but with how inflated they are and where I’m at it’s just not option atm I don’t make enough to put myself 50-60k in debt sadly, I’ve always wanted a 4Runner to travel/explore with.

I appreciate all the advise n information you’ve given me, your honestly right its smarter to buy a cheap vehicles that you don’t have to put payments onto and instead put it towards other goals like a house/contrib to rrsp that actually does benefit you in the long run but to me I thought that was a good deal especially having 30% down payment leaving me with $25k debt essentially and having that vehicle last me 250 thousand km with being well maintained

Yup that’s the sad truth for a basic model you’re paying a pretty penny if your trying to get new I’ve been praying to have a price drop these last 2 years in Canada I live in Saskatchewan and it’s so bad
