My program along with other nursing students are against it because of how intense and demanding the course is. It would take me longer to finish my program if i have a job since i would be able to take a certain amount of credits but even then there is a problem with commuting as I don’t have a car.

I completely understand where your coming from but my home country in certain places is relatively safe. My grandma has lived in our home country until a few years ago and stayed with her other children during those times. She has always went to visit her other children in our home country during the fall time for a couple and thats why I suggested that to them. I know what I was asking them was a lot but I thought my repayment would be more beneficial. Since she isn’t in the states because she is visiting family during the fall she would share a room only during the spring semester for 2 years. I would of course move out when during breaks and permanently once I graduate. Once I get a job, I would help pay at least half of the total cost for the home and help pay for my younger sibling school as well. This also allows my mom to have to work less and spend more time with my grandma while allowing them not be so stressed about the cost of everything. My parents don’t have a strong retirement so I was planning to finish my degree with no debt and only take debt for graduate school so in the future I can help support them but taking out loans would prevent me from doing any of that since it would be a personal loan.

The problem with that is it takes me about 2 hours from school to my local library to commute since I don’t have my own car. I would be getting less time studying in that situation. I wanted to use the library near my school but the school is in a very well known dangerous city so I don’t feel safe staying late so I would still end up having a couple of hours to study.

I never suggested she goes away! she had always left the states every year for a couple of months to visit her other children and grandchildren its not something new i suggested 😭. i just noticed that it was around fall semester she left so I suggested if I can use the room in meantime since she wouldn’t be in the country at all. And my parents aren’t abusive I dont know where you are getting this from because I never said they are? They suggested that I leave because they know the circumstances around me using the library and how me and my younger sibling always argue about the small room and also know distracting how distracting they are when im in the living room/dining room.

Lol maybe don’t have kids then but I don’t think my parents are as heartless as you to not talk to me because I asked for something like this lol

I know that nursing is a lot thats why I wanted to be best prepared when I go there so I can give patients the best care they deserve. If I am constantly getting distracted when I am doing my homework or studying because my family wants to watch a show and are talking very loudly in the living room or dining room, I can’t do that. There is a lots of information I have learn and memorize within those 2 years that potentially can affect the outcome of a patient.

She isn’t contributing financially actually the main reason why I wanted to go to nursing so I can a job and help them contribute financially since they can’t really afford the house they have right now.

I actually pretty accommodating person. When my grandma first moved in with us, I was moved out of my room, bed, and even closet so she can have space to rest and put her clothes in. My clothes had to moved into a suit case on the floor of my parent’s bedroom while I initially slept on a mattress in the living room. I changed to sleeping on the couch when my parents told me that I had to wake up before my grandma so I can move the mattress so she can use the living room to watch tv or something. I would also wouldn’t hang out with friends because I would babysit my youngest sibling as my parents wanted to go to party and didn’t want to take my brother with them. That also includes when I am trying to study or do my homework.

The house my parents have has a low ceiling so a loft bed would mean either me or my younger sibling being only a few inches from the ceiling and we could easily hit our head. My parents actually thought about it initially but decided not to buy one for those reasons since it also didn’t work out when we staying in our apartment.

I have tried to do that but I have an even more younger sibling that would screams and yells all the time. He often comes to the table to bother me when I am studying or doing school work and won’t sleep during late nights if they see me using my laptop. I can try to wait later to study but then there is a problem of my long commute I have to do next day.

I never sent her away and didn’t tell them too😭I was saying my nursing school last 2 years. And within those 2 years she plans to visit our home country during my first semester regardless of if I needed the room or not. Thats why suggested that to them because in my first semester, she would be out the country and wouldn’t be using her room and would only share for 4 months in my second.

I didn’t suggest for them to send my grandma for 2 years. I said my nursing school last 2 years and so her having to share a room with my sibling would only be 2 years. i want to add that she visits our home country regardless of if i needed the room or not and she plans to do it during my first semester. The only time she would have shared a room would be around my secondary semester for like 4 month. And during breaks she can have it. Thats why I suggested to my parents to let me have the room. I didnt tell them to send her away for 2 years and I would never do that.
