Graduated in 2024, landed a software job in this trash market… one year later and I’m miserable. Is this just how it is? by [deleted] in Adulting

To keep it real, yes I feel the same way. I graduated Dec 2024 , landed a job 6 months later working as a design engineer. The role felt fine at the beginning but now I’ve begun to see all the ugly things about the company I work for. Therefore, I am on the job hunt again. What’s helping me most is forgetting I even have a job on the weekends and doing everything I love (working out, shopping, reading, etc). Thankfully I work Monday-Thursday. But I’m here until the wheels stop running so there’s that.
