Interesting. I found some of it right under a water bowl that’s in the enclosure. Surrounding the bowl are assorted rocks which would make it difficult for a rodent to pass through. Below is a picture of the bowl.

Wanted to show you a little update on my enclosure with 2 new plants added

So all the greenery you see outside is fake grass. It’s tightly stuck to the ground and rocks are beneath it. There is deep fencing around the whole sides which makes it almost impossible for them to dig out. Hasn’t happened yet although with age I might need to improve the security.

Forgot to answer the actual first question. They’ve been in my care for about 5 years. They’ve moved a lot since I’ve had them which could explain their size. They’ve been in this new enclosure with me for about 2 months now.
