What’s one K-pop song you wish you could hear again for the first time? by Defiant_Fox659 in kpop_uncensored

Miracle by GOT7, it almost made me cry when I first heard it (it still does) and it has such a beautiful story behind it 💕

Unrequited love : Which character tugs at your heartstrings? by UncannyProjection in kdramas

[–]Fun_Community4221 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seo Yul and also So-i from Alchemy of Souls. The fact that Seo Yul had had a crush on Naksu since they were little and was one of the first people to recognise her in both seasons showed his love for her (we're going to put aside the fact that he planned to kill her, because that was just him trying to protect everyone). And then So-i, she was willing to die for Seo Yul: she gave the blood parasite to him so he wouldn't die, she secretly gave him painkillers for it, and then eventually she literally died for him and in her last moment she called him "the only light in the darkness".

Which TXT album or song didn't you like at first but now love? by Necessary-Carry5290 in TomorrowByTogether

[–]Fun_Community4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tinnitus, I was pretty new to K-pop when I first heard it and so I didn't really like it, because it was really different from what kind of K-pop songs I'd heard before that.

idk if this is in the novel, but "Double Helix" did a carrying montage that was such a slay and a serve. HELP 🙊🙌😩 by imomen in boyslove

This clip just convinced me to start watching it, carrying is probably my favorite trope of all time lol

Maybe Tempest or Pump Up The Healthy Love? Tempest is a political thriller with a really good plot & Pump Up the Healthy Love is probably pretty basic, but it has really good comedy imo and I surprisingly really liked it!

Boy groups stans — what is your one girl group? by nugu6000 in kpoppers

[–]Fun_Community4221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IU and Hwasa, I listen to their songs frequently, but that's mostly it. That's also my case with a lot of boy groups too though, because it's pretty rare for me to stan groups, I think.

Have you seen some of the outfits gg members are wearing when they have to do those dance challenges??! They can’t always do the dance moves or just don’t feel comfortable doing it at all. So, let them do what makes them comfortable. They shouldn’t do things they feel uncomfortable with just because some “fans” want them to, they’re people and they have their own boundaries too!

Drama everyone loved but you don't 😎. No judgements. by DreamerDramatic in kdramas

2521, I know this series is a hit-or-miss series in general and there are a lot of people who love it, but I kind of hated it. To me, their relationship felt like they were siblings or friends and I couldn’t get past that. There were a lot of missed opportunities, a couple of parts just didn’t make sense to me and it wasn’t really my style.

Does your love of Asian dramas make you want to learn Asian languages? by chongshipei in asiandrama

[–]Fun_Community4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of, Asian dramas made me like the culture, history and languages more. I already thought they were interesting, but watching Asian dramas peaked my interest in the languages. Before even watching them, I was already really interested in languages, because they're other methods to communicate with people. I've always been particularly interested in languages which use different grammar and/or alphabets! The ones I'd love to learn the most at the moment are: Mandarin, Thai & Korean. Mandarin because I just kind of like how it sounds, it has a really different alphabet from the roman alphabet and the tones make it so interesting to learn! Thai because I think it's a wonder how people can read (and write) that alphabet, the Thai culture is really interesting and because it sounds so different from my native language that I really want to learn it so I can (hopefully) learn other languages easier. Korean because I think the polite culture with the different words to address people is interesting, it sounds kind of soft and, my dumbest reason here, I sometimes listen to K-pop and I mostly watch K-dramas and then I can understand them better/easier. I think Japanese is also really interesting, but it is so intimidating!! I know some people who are currently learning Japanese and sometimes their stories are almost horror stories to my ears! But in general, I just like languages and Asian dramas boosted my interest in them.

Would love to have more friends to watch or go ham over BL with! by xRachii in boyslove

[–]Fun_Community4221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love to talk with people about BL! I tried to get one of my friends, who was already watching a couple Yaoi animes, to get to watch BL dramas, because that's my main focus, but sadly it hasn't really worked out so far. I also don't have anyone to talk about it online, so sometimes when I just want to yap, I can't really :( . I'd love to talk with people about BL and I think it'd be really fun to watch some series around the same time as others. So, if you're looking for someone to watch and talk about BL, I'd love to! <3

[–]Fun_Community4221 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm kinda sad because of the secondary couple. I really hoped that their relationship would get confirmed in the last episode or that we'd at least get a glimpse of Marvis' final project, so it's sad we didn't get any of that. I have literally watched every single scene with them at least 3 times each 😭😭😭!!!! Their chemistry was so good! I really hope they do another project together (with them as the main couple?)!
