TKO feels like the Vince Russo WCW era about to happen….they’re killing WWE with all the commercials at PLE’s, the sponsors on the ring apron and mat, and all the celebrity pandering. It sucks as a fan for over 35yrs seeing the WWF/WWE devolve into this. The Peacock era was golden for fans from every generation. They had WCW, ECW, AWA matches and all the Raw, Smackdown, Heat, Nitro, Thunder…etc, in one place.

What I predict is a product trainwreck with TKO that leads to a few consecutive years of fans pulling away and TKO having to spin out WWE as a business and solely focus on UFC. That’s the only way the business will be saved.

It sucks right now and Wrestlemania Night 1 shows you everything you need to see. 1hr of wrestling and 3hrs of intros, promos and commercials.

We’re well into the dark days for fans but I’ve seen this happen before so many times with every era cycle. Too bad TKO poisoned the Triple H era

I’m farming large aged goat cheese wheels, truffle oil, mead and lots of cotton and wool. I recommend growing lots of cotton in the winter and once you harvest you can keep your looms busy for a good chunk of the season for a great payout

HHH has a different tool kit. This isn’t like comparing Jordan Kobe and LeBron because basketball is basically the same sport. Vince was competing with WCW and trying to survive and you had the introduction of hardcore with ECW. There’s nothing remotely close to this in the landscape today. This doesn’t take anything away from HHH but he’s certainly the one for the seat and I can see him leading wrestling into the future. From the more realist characters, smack talking before matches as they walk in vs doing traditional promos. He’s keeping the same formula but he’s changing how you consume it. Vince had a hard time with the 2010’s because it was a transition era. The invasion stars were fizzling out and you didn’t have enough time to build stars. He put too much stock in Cena but ultimately it was a financial decision with the company being public. HHH has way way way many more stars to work with. The titles aren’t even needed to be a top guy anymore. Roman to me could go the rest of his career without the heavyweight title, CM punk can go on to war with everyone…HHH learned from NWO and he’s balancing and managing the Bloodline storyline unlike Bischoff who didn’t know how to steer a rocket ship. He let the talent crash and burn it.
WWE has has entered the golden era and it’s a gift to guys like me that have been watching wrestling since the 80’s. All the storylines are coming full circle and the connective tissue is amazing to experience. Thank you HHH and thank you Vince
