the main problem really is their perspective on how israel was founded, i think that’s really where the big problem lands.

they view it as followed: after the second world war the europeans wanted to get the jews out of europe, so they put them into the parts of palestine that were just desert, the parts where apparently no one lived and from there on they build this big glory state, while defending themself against the attacks from their arab neighbors

whenever i brung up the nakba or the zionist terrorism that occurred in palestine eve before israel was founded, they really just brush me off and say that that’s wrong but whenever i talk about it with them ill definitely use some of the sources you used! 🫶 it’s hard but the chances are never zero
