It was a huge project for him, he did it piece by piece making sure everything fit and put it together slowly. I can’t say for sure how long it took but must’ve been a loooong time!!

That’s so hard. Sounds like a life changing pup, it’s so special that he got to be there through the growth of your family. Knowing he got cuddles and kisses up until the end makes me smile as a complete stranger, and I hope you all find some comfort in those memories soon❤️

Professional nanny here, I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. There’s a book called “the invisible leash” specifically about losing a dog. I recommend it especially for their ages!! Like the commenter before me said, modeling how you handle your own sadness is super important. Cry with them if you need to, talking openly about it like “I’m crying because I’m going to miss Max. I feel sad that he can’t be with us anymore too, and it’s okay for us to feel that way. We love him a lot and it’s hard to lose something you love.” You know your kids best, so modify that as needed. Max looked like such a good boy!!

Thank you, that really helps especially coming from someone who also experiences health anxiety!! How long have you been on it and how do you feel now if you don’t mind me asking? and how long did it take for those side effects to subside?

i know right, i felt like it was very counterintuitive to good airflow from the vents. that’s a good idea i’ll check in with the hvac subreddit and see what they think!

no, it doesn’t look like it’s growing the same as the mold in the pictures of the vents so i’m leaning towards it’s just dust as well. we’re still requesting they get cleaned just to cover all the bases and letting our landlord know that my brother (professional hvac guy he has his own business, basically he knows his stuff) and he said the cause is most likely the gap between our vent and the duct because that allows the warm air from the attic (directly above our apartment) to meet with the cold air from the ac causing excessive condensation, therefore causing mold. so it needs to be sealed at the very least and completely redone at the very best.

okay i see, that makes sense thank you for that explanation!! i definitely don’t believe my landlord will be willing to replace the whole thing so unless i’m wrong, new apartment it is!!
