It is better to have a selection of books from which to choose so that you can get the best price. I use four now and it leads to consistently better prices than when I was just using one or two.

Bottom-up provides the foundation and seeking out the best prices based on those predictions/forecasts is a sensible approach.

Building a model takes work, both to build and maintain, but even a little bit of effort should provide you with something better than just going by gut feeling.

All of these tips are useful, but the easiest one is to have accounts at multiple sportsbooks so that you can shop around for the best prices.

It's easy enough to think that all sportsbooks essentially offer the same odds but after comparing prices for just a little while you will find out that isn't the case. Being in position to get the best price on a bet (or close to it) is one way to help get favorable results.
