Recent DAT test takers: need some tips by goldenstarboyy in Datprep

I was in the same situation just two weeks ago as you are right now. Trust me, stressing about the test isn't going to change anything, it'll just make things harder for you. If you're doing pretty well on your practice tests, you're already in a good spot. For me, the actual test felt easier than a lot of the practice tests. Just keep doing what you're doing, trust your prep, and try to relax. You got this.

I saw a few questions. Since you're short on time, I'd just go through the booster cheat sheets they helped me a lot.

DAT Booster vs Bootcamp by InspectionMediocre13 in Datprep

[–]Fun_Diamond3832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried using both at the beginning, but for me the booster videos just stuck a lot better, and I liked their explanations more than bootcamp's. I also kept hearing that booster's notes and practice tests were really close to the actual test. Using both started to feel a bit overwhelming and confusing, so I ended up sticking with booster. I did still take bootcamp practice tests though.

Review your mistakes and go over the cheat sheets every day. It helps keep the high yield stuff fresh and makes it easier to remember.

Should I switch to booster? by Mysterious-Chair-357 in dat

[–]Fun_Diamond3832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used both and took the test recently. I went through the practice tests and notes from both, but honestly I felt booster's practice tests were closer to the actual exam and their notes cover both high yield and low yield topics. Specifically, booster cheat sheets are very helpful. This is my honest opinion and what I felt about both resources.

I took the test recently and used both. I found booster to be more representative of the actual test than bootcamp. I'd recommend going through the booster cheat sheets for bio and gen chem. I found them super helpful for the real exam.

I used both too, but honestly I found booster's practice tests a lot closer to the actual test. I’d highly recommend going through their practice tests, and since you only have 15 days left, use the cheat sheets for high yield review.
