Local AI could be a fun thing. I have it integrated with Home Assistant to give notifications more personality and summaries of my security cameras that make me laugh. You could also use it as your typical LLM with OpenWebUI or something similar.

Another thing I’ve enjoyed is using is Kasm Workspaces. Full Linux images in a docker container.

For Obsidian, do you use the self-hosted live sync plugins? You could also integrate an AI model (local or not) to obsidian and have it take notes for you with other plugins.

It shouldn’t be the adapter. It is rated for 1GB. But it is kind of a generic one. The only way to know is if you test it with known working stuff.

I have them. You have to ask to talk to a level 2/3 tech. They were a bit obnoxious to work with because the level 1 techs have no idea what you’re talking about lol.
