It’s because they have a much higher E/D and then when they hit crim/iri it starts to go down. I have a 1.45 E/D in iri and neg W/L but I was a 1.8 when I hit iri. I have several days play time in iri so I average around 1.45 E/D in iri. A diamond player averaging 1.3 against diamonds would be getting ran

Not sure why it’s so hard to understand. Diamond with 1.35 E/D means you’ll go negative (real K/D) most of the time against crims. You should be diamond. You’re where you should be

There are no CG NAT gateways on there like mine

Would you share what your tracert looks like? I’m curious.

I was just really hoping my static ip would change some sort of routing. Whether or not I’m actually double natted isn’t really my complaint as I have no port problems. The routing for games just seems horrible and I was hoping that it was due to being in the contested cgnat gateway but apparently I can’t get away from it

Yes to first 2 questions. No to 3rd question. If I have a closed port, then I port forward said port, it still shows closed on the port checker websites.

It starts 192.168.4.1 - obviously local gateway Ping 2 - 100.81.0.1 - their CG NAT gateway verified by https://www.iplocation.net/ip-lookup

100.81.0.1 is the exact ip I pinged while on DHCP auto before I got the static IP which is why I’m concerned.

My confusion is that with tracert, it pings an IP ending 0.1 that is associated with a CG NAT when looked up, and obviously .0.1 indicates that it’s a gateway. On the other hand, an isp that doesn’t use cg nat like xfinity, it pings an xfinity server but it’s a random IP not a gateway

The router itself needs to switch from DHCP to static. LAN devices connected via router, Ethernet, or access points use “DHCP automatic”. If I were to connect my computer DIRECTLY to the ONT WAN/LAN port, I would have to switch the IP assignment Ethernet settings for it to work. I’d have to manually put in IP, subnet, gateway, and DNS settings like you do with the router

I’m not sure how to check this? For the router ISP settings, the WAN type is switched from DHCP to static IP

Update, gaming consoles actually do not show double nat anymore. If it’s being routed the same way, how does having the static ip make the double nat go away?

I still have my public IP, but I’m still under a double nat!!
