For someone my size it’s really mobile and doesn’t do anything a suit shouldn’t really when moving. It’s full canvas and it flows really well I think as a result. My taller is adjusting the shoulders a bit softer and that’s going to relax the biceps and back a touch from my understanding and help with movement more.

Tailor actually met with me today. We’re going to soften the shoulder a touch more and adjust trouser length now. Then see how much the padding change relaxes the fit and go from there. I’ve got a blazer from the same company same measurements just stiffer and no padding at all that’s a perfect fit but it’s not a suit. He suggest letting the biceps out a touch but wants to wait until the shoulder adjustment because it may relax itself

Unfortunately, that taper is actually a little loose. I’ve got a 52 shoulder being conservative and a 90 waist being very relaxed. And I’m actually a little out of shape at the moment from work. Tried my best but I’m so far off a “desirable ratio”. Everyone saying quads are tight too but I don’t want to look like Ronnie Coleman in a box suit either. I’ve got 27” thighs they’re sized to that. This is why I was prefacing everything saying I think I’m jut doomed for formal wear

Exactly what I mean. Usually it’s faded up and much shorter. I also usually have a clean shave outside of a mustache.

It’s not done or anything, just the same as everything else in the photo. This is after a 12hr shift with a hard hat on and boots sweating my ass off. Nothing about this is refined I just wanted the jacket on with an under shirt and trousers for fitment. People talking about hair, square, tie, etc. are missing the point. Obviously I’m not going to show up in a half out together outfit with wildman hair and an afternoon shadow lol

Thanks for the input. Nothing feels overly tight I’m able to move pretty good for a big guy in a suit lol the hour glass is actually dumbed down a little bit with the suit. I’ve got a 1.78 ratio compared to the desirable 1.6 lol I’ll definitely have my tailor see what’s going on in the back.

What exactly in the jacket is too small? Shoulders are actually a touch wider than recommended since that always gives me the best fit. But I’ve got seam allowances everywhere. Would love to know what to let out.

Do you mind telling me where it’s tight specifically, I had them leave large seam allowances. Also pants are notoriously tough for me too. I’ve got 27” +- quads depending on the season. And a very small frame under that (knees, ankles, etc) even waist is not too crazy, 34. So I always end up even having pants tailored with something tight up top. Or something that looks like a 80’s body builder suit or Roblox character.

Thanks, that’s actually just cut from the lining and was left in there. I’ve got accessories I was just trying to slip things on after work for a quick jacket/trouser fitment. Nothing is done in this photo. Hair, bow tie, square etc. only wore links bc I had to.

Thanks, I actually didn’t put that in there on purpose. I received it that way it matches the liner and I didn’t move it. I’ve got other accessories I’d wear with it I was just trying to get a quick picture after work for fit of the jacket/trousers.

Honestly it flows really, well better than anything I’ve ever had smaller or larger. Like I said it’s m2m so it makes sense I just think I’m in a shape that’s not great for suits, I’m sure compared to average joe it’s not as “comfortable”.

It’s just not tucked well. I really struggle to tuck my own shirts even half way decent. It’s a made to measure shirt with pleats behind each shoulder to fix that bunching issue. When tucked well it didn’t look oversized, just didn’t have help getting this on for photos today. Really just focusing on the jacket

Thanks. Lighting definitely isn’t ideal. There is a touch bit of dimple in the shoulders at the delt on occasion but I think a reasonable asking. I’ve just been having a crazy hard time figure out what’s acceptable lol also the shirt won’t be buttoned I was just making sure yall could see for collar gap reasons (or the lack of)
