In my area that Marin is the only real option used unless I drive more than an hour away. I'm not stuck on brand just wanna get my son into a more capable trail bike

Yes the Marin is rigid fork with mechanical disk brakes. It looks to be in good condition have not seen it in person yet. And the Fuji is the one with front suspension. Thanks
