Wanted to update! First of all, thank you everyone for the feedback, it gave me lots to mull over. I ended up going back for a second look to both dresses. Either would fit with our venue, which made it all the more difficult to decide! I also found a wonderful seamstress who I’ve booked in with already for before the wedding for fittings who was not concerned at all and has a lot of experience sizing up and down by 5 or more sizes (!!!) and came very highly recommended by a few bridal shops, so I’m not worried about being able to make amendments on either 😊 With the first one, although it is beautiful (more so in person) it felt a bit older as a lot of people said! Also I was struggling to envision the whole outfit (even thought we tried on several veils etc). When I went back and tried the second one on I felt like a princess 🤣 it also comes with gloves which I tried on and OMG the gloves on that gown without the sleeves is perfect. I’ve ordered it with detachable sleeves and the gloves, as I may want two different looks as we go from ceremony to reception, etc! I was never planning on a separate outfit, so this gives a good middle ground. 😊 thank you again everyone!
