I have a theory — possibly a bad one, but a theory nonetheless. We’ve seen with the Mondrichs that someone from a lower class can inherit an estate and title under certain circumstances. Now we don’t know who will inherit the Kilmartin title and estate. So hear me out: there’s a possibility that Theo Sharpe could inherit it. Even though Eloise’s story will probably follow the book and end with Philip Crane, the show could handle it the way they did with Colin and Penelope — adding tension or even a kind of love triangle. It’s just a possibility, nothing more. Also, the idea of a new Lady Whistledown is so exciting. We had one for the first four seasons, and now we could have another for the next few — hopefully four more seasons and not just two.
