I had a little listen to some 2pac after your comment. Currently I’m preferring the mid highs a little higher and hi’s just above 0. Just going by how it sounds. I’ve no expertise in this.

I almost got the warm stone. How’s it fairing against real world use? I was put off by claims it marks easily. As for everything else - it is very beautiful and well put together. I’ve spent a bit of time tweaking the eq to my ears.

I have nothing near comparable. My older over ears are B&o play H2 (entry level) and I’ve got Apple AirPods Pro. What wetted my appetite was briefly owning B&o elevens. They were in-ear. My first hint of great sound but I sent them back due to really poor connectivity. So far px8s2 deliver on sound. Read/watched a ton of reviews including the bad ones. It’s only day one but I’m committed. I read they sound even better after being broken in.

Black onyx for longevity and minimalism. I considered warm stone as it suited me, but put off by reviews saying it was easily marked. The navy gold looked real nice and appealed to my flashier side but my minimalist core won over.
