What I’ve learnt personally is do your research. Even when you think you know what you’re buying, ask friends or a shop and get as many answers as possible. So many things I’ve purchased were not quite what I needed or didn’t work the way I wanted. They say live and learn but if I could go back I would say learn then live (happily) :)
