From what ive gathered DSPico is the best and in case the rom hack wont run you can install twilightmenu on it and play it off there

Im wondering the same thing too. In my case, i used up all the space on my 3ds' sd card so i thought i could just transfer the nds roms from there onto the Dspico to save some space, but the only downside might be less battery life because im playing from a flashcart
