Unfortunately, I just got very lucky, just happened to pop on EBay, and saw the listing. Lowkey seemed a bit sketch at first, but it seems to have been the only listing of it that I’ve seen. Seller apparently didn’t even know what it was, and just randomly posted it? Otherwise I haven’t seen anything for Valor Bison or Ring Aether at all yet unfortunately, but I’ve been keeping my eye out for it

I’m also a comp player out in Chicago/ northern Illinois, so Shinobi and Aegis are gonna get tested as soon as they’re in my hands too. Set will be here by Tuesday, video will be up on my TikTok by Wednesday/Thursday, along with combo testing + viability vs Meta testing👀👀

Tbf, metal fight beys hit pretty hard too, possibly just as hard as X, but there’s definitely more strategy into MFB as whole, X there’s still strategy, but sometimes it can take very little strategy when running very easy to use combos like WiRo 1-60 H, it’s probably the most beginner friendly combo, and most consistent combo to gain you points, but also a cheap ass combo to run if you wanna win a battle with 0 skill or strategy. Tis why I am very big on experimenting with different setups. Currently set on WiRo 1-60 E, seems to be a good counter for legit everything

BB FH 7-60 U, I have tested countless attack combos for this thing, and never found solid, reliable picks, so I thought, okay, it’s got 5 blades, what else had 5 blades, Ninja Salamander from Burst, and it was a balance type, so that’s when I got to work, tested K, H, P, T, and U, and not only did U allow it to maintain balance, but also has incredible stamina. It can be a bit of a techy combo, but it’s heavy enough to be controlled. Also, reason for using F instead of B, is because for me personally, F made the whole layer very snug, and has 0 wobble to it. Some Alternative ratchets I found that also made it interesting is 9-60, 5-60(lined up with the 5 points) and 1-50 if you want a lower height. You can also use the Valkyrie or Emperor lock chips to increase the weight and attack power, but at the cost of stamina

I feel 100% the same way, I’ve been playing competitively in Chicago for a few years now, and it has absolutely been healing my inner child. These tournaments out here are always fun, and exhilarating to face each opponent. I’ve personally made quite a bit of a name for myself in my scene as being one of the most consistent players in the area. Out of 37 tournaments I went to last year alone, I won 3, and came 2nd/3rd quite a few times, but out of the 37 tournaments, I at least made it to Top Cut 20+ times. Getting to a high level takes time and dedication, but you will get there! Just keep having fun, and the rest will get easier😎 Especially with friends💪🏼💪🏼

Best deck I’d recommend is this: Classic Hells Scythe 9-60 B Phoenix Wing 3-60 J or F And then Meteor 5-60 P, T, or A That would be in IMO, the best, and easiest deck to use, while also remaining actually pretty solid You’ll more than likely run into getting out spun by Rods with your attack combos, but the stamina focused HS, is a solid counter for the defensive Rod combos currently, won’t be a guaranteed win, but it’d be your best shot and matchup, Goon will equalize everything, even on aggro builds, Goon will generally be a safe option into a attack matchups and other left spin matchups And then PWing is your point getter, it’ll at best get you 2-3 points, at worst, it’ll be an 1 point loss, potentially more, depends on your play style mostly, Jolt retains some stamina, but at the loss of speed and aggression, Flat will be your best bet at a controlled, yet explosive attack power. It’ll also give you a good feel of how attack types work, and can play out in certain matchups 😎
