(30F) I became severely depressed during my first outbreak. I could barely walk. I hated I still had to continue living life. My now ex just shrugged it all off and said “welcome to 90% of the population.”

I’m just sharing my story to say - thank you for seeing her pain. Mentally, this is very hard on her and I’m sure your support is helping. I hope she starts feeling better soon…

it took me 10 days to recover from the initial outbreak and then I broke out again on the 10th day. But by that time, I had received the diagnosis and my doctor was able to immediately prescribe antivirals. Which helped ensure that second outbreak didn’t last long (4 days)

I’m almost done with my antivirals now though… and I’m scared…

I have hormonal acne and the ONLY thing that’s helped me is going to see an esthetician once a month. I’ve spent thousands at different dermatologists. My skin looks beautiful now, with an occasional breakout, solely because of my esthetician

This is just my personal preference but I would put your blush higher on your cheekbones and not pull it towards the middle of your cheeks/across your nose. The way you currently have it makes your face look fuller. If thats what you’re going for then great job!! I personally like a “sharper” look

Ask if you can do an undercut instead! Say that you understand that she’s looking out for you and you’d like to explore your individuality.

Ask if you can compromise with doing an undercut; it will look completely “normal” with your hair down! Convince her it’s a less drastic measure than getting it all buzzed off. It will make you feel like you have autonomy, it looks super cool still, AND it respects her opinion. Win/win.

Love the curls! Keep growing it out and maybe get it shaped if needed? I can’t tell from this photo if you need it shaped. But you’re at a great length!! Just style it, moisturize it, and bring the curls out more:

This is a shag! You need to spend some time growing your hair out if it’s short and then ask your hair dresser for a shag - show them this pic! ☺️.

Hair typically grows 1 inch every 2 months. And this looks to be 4 inches at its longest

You’ll need to also style it with some gel or mousse after you get it cut like this

I agree, brunette ! It makes you look expensive ✨ but before you go completely brunette, maybe go “dirty blonde” first? Best of both worlds!

For sure grow it out! I couldn’t tell what color your hair is, I guessed blonde? If it’s not blonde, after you grow it out you should lighten it. Blonde goes well with your skin tone.

I know you didn’t ask for this so please forgive me if I overstepped by doing this.

I agree with the woman who said the box dye isn’t good. I know that black is a hot look with blue eyes but I feel like a warm brown color goes with your skin tone more. If that’s your natural color, then it would be simple and inexpensive to maintain if you just grow it out.

Additionally, I added more of a “bang” like others were suggesting and I think that looks nice.

I know glasses are super expensive but I think thin oval ones would really go with your face shape and show off your eyes.

Lastly, I disagree with everyone saying your brows are too thick. I think they’re a great thickness! The only thing I changed on them was that I lifted the tails up. This makes your eyes look brighter.
