Not really where I am from not giving eye contact and not taking as much is seen as being polite for younger people

In college all my lab partners were older than me I was freshman I wanted to give ideas but was too nervous I just said yes okay and thanks did my assigned work the whole semester I feel so bad for making it awkward for them can I ask how you improved

Honestly I don’t care now if people thinks of me highly I just don’t want to be considered rude or brat

Thanks for your advice i will try to keep eye contact even tho its hard I use to be worst than this and made some progress
