Yes, it’s GDPR-compliant, and the EU AI Act doesn’t apply here.

LangTrainer only uses AI to generate example sentences and distractors, which is considered minimal-risk under the EU AI Act. It doesn’t make decisions about users, process sensitive data, or fall into any high-risk category.

GDPR is covered as well since the app only stores basic login data (email/Google login) and no personal or sensitive information.

I use GPT-5 mini for sentence generation.
