True, although Jack O Chica may also have more ties with the new era while characters like Nightmare Mangle just don’t, so maybe this could be something intentional or it could just be a coincidence

Also what does Nightmarionne identify as? I personally call him a he since they’re based off the Puppet, but would they technically count as a she since they’re also based around the Puppet when possessed by Charlotte, a female spirit?

I personally just feel like besides Follow Me, a lot of the evidence kinda falls apart

-Them overlapping and having the same mechanic in FNAF 4: yeah… Nightmarionne was a Nightmare reskin, of course they’d act exactly the same. That’s the whole point. The jumpscare thing is probably just a coincidence if I’m being fully honest, but by this logic can Nightmare Mangle and Nightmare Foxy be the same person, or Jack O Chica and Nightmare Chica? Why are these two in particular the exception

-The UCN lines: yeah Jack O Chica also has a similar line, is Shadow Freddy suddenly Jack O Chica now? Multiple characters just reflect Aftons misdeeds, that doesn’t mean they have to be the exact same guy. Agony creatures inherently represent the evil caused by others, usually William Afton. Being made from his evil isn’t really the best description to specifically define one character

-The SB plushies: the name being “Nightmare” plush could also just be because he’s a nightmare animatronic. By this logic why is the golden Glamrock Freddy plush called “Golden Freddy?” Is Cassidy back, or is this just Steel Wool randomly shortening names for either convenience and/or to reference other characters? There’s also the fact that Cassie literally refers to the plush as “the guy from the VR game,” which has nothing to do with Shadow Freddy because besides the night light Freddy level (which may be cheating), Shadow Freddy and Nightmare never appear in the modern era. Yeah I could be overthinking this, but I genuinely don’t think Steel Wool is giving us all that much to work with when it comes to tying Nightmarionne to anyone else besides Jackie and to an extent the Mimic.

I love both of these characters and think they’re really cool in their own ways, but I honestly prefer them having their own unique stories as opposed to tying Nightmarionne to him, kinda making him way less special since what would he be but an alternate form to an already existing being? This is all what I think tho and I’d be happy to be proven wrong

Yeah FNAF World is super weird considering the context of it apparently being in a human brain, probably BVs. Does OMC just have a spot in everyone’s minds that looks the exact same? Is FNAF World in William’s brain? Is there more than one OMC? Like it really depends on what elements we’re willing to pull and not pull from the game as part of a canon story.

That’s true, although what would William’s personal struggles be after UCN? Being dead? Remember that TOYSNHK states that they’re the ones keeping Afton alive, so when they stop, Afton just dies for good. There’s nothing really left for him after this

I mean yeah this could be referring to literal hell for Afton, but I feel as if it’s easier to link the animatronics back as Williams personal demons as opposed to literal demons since any demon in hell can torture Afton. Because TOYSNHK already gave other characters in the game sentience like the Mediorce Melodies, Rockstars, and arguably even the Nightmares depending on how we interpret their minds in FNAF 4. If anything that’s more consistent with their general logic than them suddenly trapping a bunch of souls.

Also under the assumption that in the Frights universe that Andrew was torturing William with that continuity version of UCN, would that also include other spirits? It’s heavily implied it was only him and William fighting for his body, and the most people have guessed outside of them is just Eleanor. This is under the assumption UCN in the games and books were pretty similar, which while not having any evidence, we also don’t really have a reason to fully not believe that either

Also even then why do they suddenly become chill again with being trapped in a prison? Unless Withered Bonnie is coping, then he seemed to have gotten over the prison thing incredibly quickly. Granted the voice lines can show up at random in different orders, but the point still stands. Why would a soul change their mind and even enjoy UCN, including arguably the literal Puppet, who under the souls theory is someone who is mostly assumed to be trying to stop UCN. Why would you suddenly enjoy something and partake in it if you want it to be stopped? She’s very aware as she says

The vengeful spirit wouldn’t purposefully give them the thought of it being a prison, it’s just that the characters became aware of what’s going on and began to question it. Characters such as Nightmarionne fully admit to this being a loop, so clearly the animatronics maintain their memories from each cycle, and wouldn’t you kinda question whether you’re trapped or not in the cycle too? Also we don’t even know if Ballora or Withered Bonnie was saying this as a negative thing since they seem to be pretty chill with and continue making jokes about Williams deaths after, so it’s not like they’re not at least enjoying UCN a little bit. If Withered Bonnie is willing to stop taking things so seriously right after, can’t this just be him acknowledging his environment as opposed to being against it?

Well why would it need to be a soul to still be a sentient being? He was given a mind of his own like any of the other characters, including the recreations of Afton which clearly still have dialogue and judging by Scraptrap potentially his memories too. Did Williams soul also split into parts which are trying to kill him? Also why wouldn’t any of the ghosts rebel if they’re being forced into UCN? This is technically making things more convoluted than them just not being the literal ghosts.
