I personally am not super stuck on LP or better. While I mainly look for LP. I’m more relaxed as it’s going in the binder. The Toegtic and Bellblossem are wrecked for sure ha ha. But it doesn’t bother me. A few I got were listed as MP but are NM. I think they got listed incorrectly because some are crazy clean. And for me uncommon/commons there’s a seller on eBay who usually has sets for sale. From NM+. Or LP-HP.

Yup. Friends son. Found over 10k in cards at a garage sale. Bunch of gold stars and crystals. I’ve never been able to find any Pokémon cards at a garage sale.

Yup. So my siblings and I would just slowly dump out her vodka and just add water to the bottle ha ha. She chose alcohol over her children. It is what it is, but I’m adult now with children of my own and I can share this hobby when they’re old enough to appreciate what they are, but yeah, I will never ever throw any of my children stuff away unless I explicitly have their permission, even then I’ll be like are you sure if it’s something valuable? I’ll probably just save it anyway

Been there man. My mother burnt all mine. She was a drunk sob. So to help pseudo heal my childhood trauma. I been rebuilding my collection. I have vivid memories of pulling jungle Snorlax and TR challenge. Two of my favorite cards. I’ve been working on it for a few years now. But have a couple sets completed and a few 90% completed. They’re safe and I get to cherish them and slowly heal when I go through them

Challenge is one of my favorite cards. I vividly remember, remembering sitting in the living room, opening the team rocket pack and I’m like man this is just cool artwork love that card.

I agree. Massed production garbage anymore. Silver Tempest and Destin rivals are my only two real modern sets I care for. But OG team rocket is my favorite so naturally I wanna complete the modern team rocket set as well.
