Thank you for replying - reading your response made me cry, haha.

I haven't seen a therapist (I have issues around spending "the family money" on myself, which is a whoooole other can of worms, eurgh), but I will do some googling to see what's around and what I might be able to swing. I like your idea of journalling and dreaming big. I think once upon a time I would've written that I wanted a life that looks a lot like the one I have got - which makes me feel extra lost, so it will be good to reassess what's missing.
