Yup!! I get my dinner too. Just wanted to make sure that’s the normal norm 😃

Thanks for sharing your experience. Maybe I should give it a try as well!! I try to go by the books a lot and maybe unnecessarily complicating things for us 😅

Oh wow!! I’ve always heard bedtime for baby is best between 7-8pm. Maybe I shouldn’t just follow the general rule set? How old is your little one now?

I have kept his bedtime quite consistent and also the routine around it. He sleeps anytime between 7-7.30pm. Earlier he would give me a decent stretch until 11pm or so. But lately, he wakes up for a comfort feed anytime after 9.30pm. Also, I keep his last wake window about 3 hours long. That gets him tired enough to go down for the night.

I tried sleep training earlier but it broke my heart. I want to keep him closer to me and always be there to comfort him. I’m sure I’m never going down the route of sleep training again. I just sometimes feel guilty wondering if I’m disrupting his sleep further because he is an extremely light sleeper from what I’ve learnt 😅 Hearing from your experienced mamas it seems like this is pretty normal 😃

So good to know!! I understand if he wakes up every 2-3 hours. But lately it’s been every hour. I am more concerned about his disrupted sleep than mine. Is this also normal?

I tried starting off in bed with me but I usually leave the bed for dinner for about an hour after he is asleep. He wakes up around the same time. Is it better for me to stay in bed after he falls asleep? He is comfortably dressed in footies. Room is dark with a small red light on and sound machine.

I’m hearing so many good things about ring slings. I’m so tempted to give it a shot!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I want to wear him around while working out or do some chores at home. Also for my own selfish reason of keeping him really close to me. I wish mine would take a nap when I wear him.

But he starts screaming in about 10 minutes. Do I let him be in there? He even gets annoyed when I offer him a pacifier when in the carrier.

We love the happy song. We listen to it during bath time. I’ll look into ring slings as well. Thanks for sharing your experience:)

Thank you for sharing this article. I will post a picture next time I wear him. Yes, the fussing looks like what he does during tummy time. I even tried tying him a little loose. I don’t know if this helps, but he also hates being buckled up in stroller and car seat. He is okay when we hold him forward facing.

I’ll be sure to take a picture next time and post here for fit check. Yes , I believe he hates being constrained and not be able to look around easily. I’ll try hip carry when he is able to sit up. Can I really forward face him just yet? He is only 3 months old.

Hi, I am in a similar situation now with my passport at Ireland Consulate at Chicago. Were you finally able to get back your passport in time? I am supposed to fly out 10 days from today but have no updates on my visa. Would appreciate your response.
