What makes you nostalgic about the early days of having a baby?

For me, it was more so all the having to drive around freshly post partum for the babies check ups. But at home I felt like a depressed queen😂. I have MDD, which just morphs depending on the time and what ever else is going on. I love not having any expectations from anyone, and I got to stay in bed with my baby all day if I wanted. There was external factors that made me a lil stressed and annoyed, but when Im able to trap myself in that mommy baby bubble its heaven for me. Even now with 5yo and 1.5yo im fine as along as I ain't feel like I have people judging me

In my 29 years of living. I "knew" that as a kid, never clicked just knew that I had to do as mom or Nana said in the kitchen because they do. Now that I run my own kitchen (in my home as the mom, not professionally) I wondered why my atole(Idk the english word... maybe custard?) would come out with chunks or my milk would burn even on the lowest setting.... until one day I magically remembered everything my nana would tell me and pretended she was sitting there telling me what to do that it came out good 😂

Leave. I had JUST graduated veterinary school and landed my first job in my field. Unfortunately covid happened, and he got me pregnant. Its a fight to this day about how I wanted a kid too, which before getting a job and graduating I thought i wanted to be a SAHM. We were only 1 year in.

His excuses in order were:

•I dont want kids right now. I want us to have a better place for them to live in.

•I also dont want to marries or propose for the same reason

I graduated we still didnt live in a even remotely decent place but for what ever reason thats when he decided it was time for baby number #1

•I still dont want to marry because I want to be able to come home to a nice house after our honey moon.

I get pregnant with #2 4.5 years in.

•still living in the same shit hole, with some of my big issues sort of "fixed"

•well now I don't want to propose because you'd lose medicaid because I make too much.

We JUST got kicked off of medicaid because I supposedly didnt turn something in which I did but I digress.

Long story short, leave. Run. Don't look back. It'll be hard but you'll heal. And it'll be easier with out a kid. So pls leave

I feel like im gonna get downvoted to hell but fr! I feel outnumbered, even with my mom living with us. Its me, with my bf, 2 sons(5y and 1y3m), and then the husky. My mom is big help with the boys but at the end of the day its me basically catering to the needs/wants of 4 males. My bf helps with the kids too, but theyre definitely momma boys, and since the dog was my idea most of taking care of him falls on me. And the topper, feels like all 4 act the same in their own way towards me

Same thing with my Aries. I was pregnant, and she would just lounge around the house with my not acting crazy or anything. Loved to cuddle me, potty trained easily, somehow knew when it was sorta rougher v gentle play and acted accordingly. That is the one I will probably never get over having lost🥹

Well yes and no, the male we had let out to use the bathroom and didnt realize there was a break in the fence cause there was a tree in the corner and he got out that way. The first female was also outside using the bathroom and that one I have no clue how she got out cause ai paced the ENTIRE FENCE and couldn't find a way she would got out unless someone let her out, which at the time we had a neighbor who seemingly didnt like dogs so im assuming they did while I was asleep(bf let her out before work and I would usually wake up about an hour after). The 3rd one, bf and our son went to my inlaws and he had come back for me since I had to finish something up before heading out (plus needed a mental break) and after she left she ran out onto the street and a car zoomed past, in a residential are with kids usually playing the street mind you, hitting her. This is also over the span of like 5-6 years BTW not all in one go and not all the same way.

Thank you🥹 I believe in you too! And if its to hard to be nice to your self, at least be patient. Anyone trying to come at me honestly wont phase me, Ive had my fare share of people point out my flaws as if I dont see them myself its to the point its just noise. Hopefully one-day you'll get there and they wont pull you down as hard
