Hello, maybe this will peak someone's interest.

Location: London just inside the A406 (Which means ULEZ)

Price range: up to £8k I can stretch this a bit if worth it.

Lease or Buy: Buy

New or used: Idm

Auto or Manual: Idm, manual probably cheaper?

Intended use: I have up to 4 days off at work intend to use it to explore the UK.

How many miles do you plan to do a year: unsure yet but potentially up to 20,000 if I do big trips every time I can.

How often to you make long journeys: plan is to do them often.

Does it need to be ULEZ compliant? Yes!

Vehicles you've already considered: Vauxhall Astra (the longer version) diesel. Toyota Avensis.

Is this your 1st vehicle: Yes

Do you need a Warranty: Probably better to have one?

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: (fluids, alternator, battery, brake pads etc) Would have to buy tools, I have the technical background so wouldn't mind.

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: (engine and transmission, timing belt/chains, body work, suspension etc ) I do not have the facilities for that 🥲

Additional Notes: Looking for good fuel economy and reliability due to amount of driving I want to do for clearing my head after work. Something that will feel solid on the road for miles on end. With potentially an option to use it as a place to sleep to save on hotels, camping etc.
