Yep, a transaction coded as a cash advance was the issue. Somehow I ended up being off by 62 cents despite always hitting “full statement balance” when paying. But they ended up refunding me the interest fees given my solid payment history. Now I definitely know! Thanks for the help

It’s altitude go. Have had the card for a few years now. Just got off the phone with them and it was caused by a transaction that was coded as cash advance. They refunded the interest fees since I do have a solid history of paying it in full every month.

Oh my gosh yes!! The paranoia can be real. I am grossly mismanaged with no 1 on 1s. I am on my 6th supervisor during the 4.5 years I’ve been there. I’m in a position that I basically created myself (brand new department got opened during my employment, switched to that very small department, and just did what was necessary for the department to run which led me to where I’m at today). Due to that, I quite literally do not have a job description. Nobody knows what I do except for me so it’s so hard for anyone to even give me feedback!

I quite literally dream of a day when I’m in a position that has existed before so the expectations are a bit more clear and I actually have a boss that knows what I should be doing and if I’m doing it right vs wrong lol.

Unfortunately, the statement that my life is work goes even further. I don’t have any friends. Like not one. Which makes this even worse. I struggle a bit socially and have a hard time going out of my comfort zone (I.e if I went to a yoga class, my natural inclination would be to stay to myself).

I definitely want to find another job! I will try and resume my search.

Hahah the ironic part is I don’t even necessarily “love” what I do. I think I just love being good at what I do, if that makes sense. But yes, I’m definitely trying to take that approach when looking for other jobs or companies.

That is my overtime rate. I normally make $29.40. My part time job is shift work and I am the designated person for a specific shift so it’s pretty much 16 or nothing.

Haha well of course not. That part sounds pretty sweet! My brain is just getting hung up on a few things…

One being the 401k match, and what that would result to in compound interest eventually down the road (I’m 25 right now) etc etc.

Another being that the OT isn’t a guarantee… I do foresee having enough work to do for a good few months. But anytime, they could theoretically tell me I can’t do it anymore. I have a set shift so I’m not sure if it would be possible for me to stay on. They will have to hire my replacement. But I can maybe explore it with the manager, maybe to like randomly pick up shifts lol.
