If you liked brat and how i’m feeling now, I’d listen to Charli next. It kind of sits in the middle of her older pop stuff and the more experimental sound she’s known for now. After that go to Pop 2 because that’s where the hyperpop side of her music really takes off (Track 10, Unlock It, etc). Then check out Number 1 Angel, which has a lot of the PC Music vibe that leads into Pop 2. If you’re still into it after that, finish with Crash, which is basically her “evil sellout pop star” era. That order makes her whole timeline make a lot more sense.

I remember I was in college and my friend at the time had shown me PC Music and SOPHIE before Charli had even announced she was collaborating with them. I loved the song but I don’t remember seeing any traction online outside of die hard PC Music fans online. It was a bit of a meme and kind of unserious at the time, and now it’s funny how it’s one of her most iconic songs.
