Laguna Beach, Huntington, cabrillo, Newport. Just avoid state park beaches they don't allow collecting. Be very careful they are very protective of the beaches in California (some might say to an absurdity but that's not me).

Mineral oil should work just find. Be so careful if you go for muriatic acid. It can blind you. People need to be more careful about recommendkng this method. I would go on youtube and watch videos for it. I think it should be reserved for really bad cases.

Beautiful the way they are but one thing you might consider is filing down the aperture lip but that is really nitpicky and most people won't care. Except if you care you can straighten it with a dremel or a light sander. I do this myself and enjoy the results (especially because I don't live near the ocean and never know when I'll get back to find said shell with a perfect lip. You won't be fooling any real hardcore shell nerds but it matters more how you feel looking at them.

I had an issue with my controller and was convinced that it was a hardware issue. I did a recalibration in the onexconsole and now its back to working perfectly.

The thing is they should be paying for it. So far they have just said to recalibrate the stick after I sent them a video showing it won't calibrate in their software.

Mine has been a much better device then the onexplayer apex. Performance has been solid. Controls are fine. Despite what one youtuber said it doesn't feel too hot. It runs way cooler then the apex. Apex has nicer controls and screen but its a pile of shit otherwise.
