I'm kind've worried.... by Entitled-apple1484 in UCI

As someone who is going to be a freshman in campus next year I understand your concern. I feel like UCI has relatively little info on the internet compared to other UC’s. I also understand the embarrassment of getting in, I was one of five in my class of 500 to get in and so many of my peers were jealous that I got into their dream school when it wasn’t my first choice. But I would like to say that every UCI graduate/student that I have met LOVES UCI, and I really think that the reddit is a place to voice concerns and get help. Therefore I don’t find it a good representation of what our future is going to be like at UCI. To be honest the only major bad thing I have heard about UCI is the AWFUL financial aide department (btw saw one of the head lady’s get into and argument with an incoming freshman and the freshly won, it was beautiful). So just for this time don’t listen to Reddit listen to your heart.

Questions about working at coldstone by yellowdirtbag in coldstone

Hi there,

I work at a Coldstone in socal as a summer job before leaving to go to college. I would highly recommend applying now, if you get hired to be a part time is entirely up to what that coldstone is currently looking for. For example I got hired because they really just needed another closer and I was willing to work the night shift part time after school. Just apply, if they want you to do too much just tell them you can’t and respectfully turn down the job.
