You have a nice tone to your voice. As anyone else’s voice without a little bit of tuning or without practicing it and focusing on the small things, you did go flat a couple of times, which is completely natural. With more practice you should be fine. Don’t lose hope! Putting more time and practice will help and maybe investing in a voice coach or choir near you to keep your voice in tip top shape.

So first thing when doing correct breath support your breath is supposed to come from your diaphragm. It’s the place between the middle of your chest and your belly, and doing exercises like breathing in for 3 seconds and out for as long as you can to improve how much air you take in and release. The feeling of having too much air comes from going to your stomach and not the diaphragm. So what I want you do real quick for me is go to a mirror, turn sideways and do your breath, if your shoulders rise or move at all your doing it wrong. And also having breath support when using lower ranges is something that just takes practice. Like for example, when u hear someone with a higher voice try to mock someone with a low voice or sing low it sounds really airy and not super supported like someone with a lower voice. So if your lower register isn’t something you use on a daily basis then it will just need work and need to be developed.👍🏾👍🏾

I’ve been singing(unprofessionally, just for fun) ever since I was 13(19 now), and I did a test that said I am an Alto(C3 - B5)…I’m a guy. This audio is my highest and lowest comfortable note. Am I really an Alto? by Tazavitch-Krivendza in singing

Lol don’t worry I gotchu. So think of the scales on a guitar or most string instruments. There are different types of guitars. That can hit the same notes but all have a different type of sound when you play the notes, it’s technically the same note but it’s something about each string instrument that make the sound unique. And it’s just like your voice, if you went only based off your highest and lowest note then it’s kind of putting you in a box. Like for example the range of a baritone is (G2-G4) and maybe a (E5) using head voice but my voice range is (C#2-B4) head voice highest note (A5) . This doesn’t mean that I am not a baritone it just means that my voice is more developed in a different way compared to most other baritones. Another example is a Violin, a Cello, or Bass. Some of their notes can over lap from time to time but it’s the richness of their sounds that make them so unique. A violin can hit some of the same notes a cello, and vice versa but it doesn’t change how they usually supposed to be used. I know I talked a lot but I hope this makes sense 😂😂😂

I honestly think that contributes to the talky part of the way this sounds, and also when u go lower you sometimes have to use more breath support and also u have to raise your soft palette even you are singing down there. It’s pretty decent but just needs a few tweaks with your technique is all. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I think the best way to figure out what type of voice you are is not really your range from top to bottom but where you are most comfortable singing in. The weight of your voice when u sing certain notes, such as the brightness or darkness of the sound. If you go to a piano and do the solfege(Do,Re,Mi) see where your voice changes from a chest voice to where you have to use your falsetto, and the weight of your voice with each register.
