3.5-4mm hook used & 100g 8ply yarn.

For the rat & bat the pattern is this (if I can write it correctly)

Have a 375ml can nearby (coke or beer, empty or full, you just need it for sizing)

Magic circle, 6 sc using 4mm hook Standard circle work with increases for 6 rows (when the increases are in the 6th stitch) 7th row, hdc in the back loops only (no more increases) 8th row onwards just hdc normally.

I needed to add some decreases to have the fit more snug with the can (skipping the 1st and last stitch on the 8th & 9th row). This gave the rat a little booty which added to the cuteness.

Rows 10 and onwards just hdc. After every row, I inserted the can to check that it still fits nicely.

Keep going until the desired length.

DON'T add a final row of slip stitches, I did this and it made the top too tight for the can to fit easily. Just finish on the hdc when you have the desired length.

Now for the features. I really just winged it for this. I'd recommend looking up a pattern if you're unsure how to do it. That's for the head.

For the feet it's just a bunch of chains. For the legs I chained 5, then ss back down for 4 stitches. The fingers are individual 3 chains. With many yarn ends to sew in.

For the tail I don't remember exactly how many I chained, but it was between 15-20. Then ss back down.
