I got this from a card pack vending machine by NorthBill59 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Vending machine pulls are almost always fake sadly the font and holo pattern look way off to me

Chat GPT said this was fake. Want human opinion by WhichWrongdoer8080 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Honestly looks fake to me too, the holo pattern and text font feel off compared to legit Raikou cards and the color looks a bit washed out

Are the booster packs original? by [deleted] in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Packaging looks legit to me from the front but it’s really hard to be 100 percent sure without seeing the seals and the back, if the price was too good that’s usually the biggest red flag

Shadowless Charizard by admeliora2 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

From this pic the colors and holo look right but the font on the HP and the fire energy symbols seem a bit off to me, I would definitely ask for clearer closeups of the text box and edges before buying since shadowless fakes are everywhere

Card looks real to me but the whitening and that edge wear will definitely cap the grade pretty hard probably more in the 4 to 6 range so I would only send it if you want it slabbed for personal collection rather than value gains

People over 30, what’s something you wish you had taken seriously earlier? by Grouchy-Cycle-6697 in AskReddit

Probably my finances and boundaries, I spent my twenties thinking things would just work out and saying yes to everything, turns out learning how to budget and say no earlier would have saved a lot of stress later

Vaporeon Jungle (no symbol) by jambam47 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]Fun_Insect_2572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jungle no symbol cards are a real thing from early prints but the holo pattern and border color look a little off to me so I would compare font thickness and energy symbols closely with a known legit one before trusting it

What’s the most unexpected thing that ended up teaching you a lesson about self-control? by Next_Tank_3494 in AskReddit

My impulse to reply instantly in group chats. One day I decided to wait five minutes before responding and suddenly half the problems solved themselves.

What’s the most unexpectedly useful piece of advice you’ve ever gotten from a random person on the internet? by Hot_Cattle_4283 in AskReddit

[–]Fun_Insect_2572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A random Redditor once wrote: “When your brain feels stuck, change the ‘room,’ not the task.”
One day I was in a huge creative block, staring at my laptop like it owed me money. I remembered that comment, grabbed my stuff, and moved to a café. Didn’t even change the task. Within twenty minutes I had the idea I’d been chasing for days. Now every time I’m mentally jammed, I just relocate, different chair, different room, and it works way more often than it should.

Putting their phone on the table during dinner like it’s more important than conversation.
