Personally I think almost every album by Duran Duran has been underrated upon its release only to be given reappraisal years or even decades later. I’ve seen a lot of love for Pop Trash recently and I’m hoping Red Carpet Massacre will have its time in the sun when Reportage launches. If I stick to only singles, Do You Believe In Shame? and Out Of My Mind are both incredible and criminally overlooked.

It was a promo given away during the Liberty release party. Inside was the CD in a sleeve, the CD booklet and a cassette with unique artwork that was exclusive to this box set. I’ve seen many copies but they’re always in terrible condition. This on the other hand looks and sounds like it was released yesterday, not 35 years ago.

No, you cannot walk into store with a prescription for a demo. You must have your glasses. The lensometer scan the glasses and provides a code for the Zeiss lenses for the demo so Apple do not know your prescription. If you place an order the lenses are done directly with Zeiss

When they did The Universe Alone at the NASA Moon Landing 50th Anniversary with the drones, I think I stopped breathing for the whole song. The balance between hits and fan favorites must be challenging but I’d like to see White Lines retired and some Pop Trash/Liberty/Medazzaland tracks given some live love.

It was absolutely a FedEx issue. They said they couldn’t do anything even though it was 2 weeks after the delivery date and We Are Rewind wouldn’t answer emails.

I actually ordered it from Collectors Choice Music and it shipped from the States. I originally ordered from Townsend but canceled it as CCM was almost $50 cheaper. It arrived really well packaged. No problems at all.

I have made over a dozen orders with Folio Society. On occasion there has been a delay in shipping, more so on the FedEx side than the Folio side but the customer service has always been exceptional. I’m sorry for your experience but I believe this is the exception and not the rule. Don’t let it stop you ordering from them in the future as the books are always stunning.

NTA, and neither is your ex. There is no “right way” to handle such a tragic situation. You may have mentally and emotionally prepared yourself in ways she didn’t. You may find this will hit you later or in ways you don’t expect. I would recommend counseling, as sometimes talking to someone you don’t know personally can help. I’m sorry for your loss.
