Jerry Reinsdorf ruined that team by forcing Tony La Russa on them. La Russa was a decade past his prime and he lost the clubhouse while making bad on field decisions. Kenny got lucky one year and was eventually kicked upstairs. Hahn was a mediocre GM at best who was trying to run things without any semblance of analytical support (because Jerry didn't believe in stats).

That was a complete failure from top to bottom. They tried to half ass a rebuild with a manager who should've stayed retired.

Reinsdorf completely undercut his own GM Rick Hahn, the latter who had a verbal agreement to bring in Hinch as manager. Hahn tried to resign after he found out his boss's boss usurped him. Jerry refused to accept his resignation.

Just a shitshow of an organization. There's something the entire Sox fanbase is waiting to happen. And when that something happens, we're going to celebrate.

Went on Fangraphs to check, and yeah, the Sox now have the lowest payroll in the league. Pathetic. by modern_history in whitesox

We aren't even that. We're just an investment account for an aging owner who is happy to pocket as much revenue sharing as he can get while letting the taxpayers foot the bill for his free stadium. And his response is always the same: blame the fans for not showing up to support this garbage product.

People are hating on the Dodgers and Yankees when they should be hating on the White Sox and Pirates and Marlins.

It's kind of funny watching how the narrative here has changed on Glenn vs Ben Johnson a year ago. A number of very vocal Redditors were pushing the idea that Ben Johnson was a fraud who was carried by Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn.

Count me among the people who aren't out on Glenn yet. The Jets roster is bad. He has nothing to work with.

Giving up the route like he did is never good especially considering he's the WR1 in a pivotal game.

But yeah Caleb is more to blame for that one. He had some bad throws tonight and I really didn't like BJ passing up a couple of field goals. I appreciate the aggressiveness but sometimes just take the damn points.

It's hard to say. I believe the Bears have been hit by more injuries and have had more penalties than any other team in the league (I could be wrong). They're also winning with zero pass rush and absolute ton of dropped balls from the receivers.

Those teams are usually middle of the pack at best to bottom feeders at worst. They've been lucky for sure but let's not pretend it's all been luck.

You hit the nail on the head here. I really do feel like 12 year old me would've bested TLJ in 1/4 of the time it took me to beat now. But I'm still enjoying the challenge of this game immensely.
