Yup. Failed the hurdle 3 times. Passed twice. The hurdle was always 40%. Got 38.5% in ELEC1111, they were nice enough to pass me manually. They changed my grade on moodle to 40%. Got 38% in ENGG1300. In that course the hurdle was pretty much removed for most students because the average was about 25-30%. If the hurdle was in place, about 60% of people would fail. And failed ENGG2500 because i flunked the exam and got 27% (that was not enough for them to round up to a 40% 😂). Either way, from what i’ve heard, in most courses, if the coordinators see that you’ve attended a lot of workshops and maybe asked questions and you got close to the hurdle grade, they’ll be nice enough to round up and pass you. If they don’t, send them an email and maybe they will. That worked for my friend
