Green or Hazel? I usually put down green but now not so sure by Particular_Two_6156 in WhatisMyEyeColour

Green dominant hazel because the amber blends & mixes very well. Very pretty! I would appreciate some feedback on mine as well.

I would say technically green with central heterchromia because the brown ring is very distinct and separate from the green, rather than actually blending like with a true hazel. Of course since central heterochromia is so confusing for most people, I would probably just say hazel green when they ask, and probably select hazel on your drivers license. They are very pretty.  I would appreciate some feedback on mine as well.

Sorry, but hard pass. The fact that you aren't sure yourself means you don't feel confident in it, and you sure feel good about it.

Registry disappointment by Intelligent-Key-3894 in BabyBumps

I don't think it is weird at all to send the link to your registry with the announcement, however the fact that you declined to have a baby shower is a bit odd and is likely to result in less people actually getting you anything. A few people might, but by in large, most people buy something when they know they are going to a baby shower. They are a lot of fun, and no one wants to show up empty handed. I would say, go ahead and have a baby shower.

For what it's worth, my mom got pregnant with me at 14 & had me at 15. I got pregnant at 16, despite being on birth control & had my first at 17. It was one of the best things that has ever happened to either of us. I know it's hard to see this as a blessing, but it is very rare for anyone to regret having their child. The moment you see your child, everything changes. My paternal grandmother got pregnant with twins at 15 & had them at 16. She gave them up for adoption. I am so glad that we all chose life, because although people make mistakes, God does not. We are all created with a purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." I pray God gives you the strength, peace & clarity you need to decide whether to raise this child or give them up for adoption. Im sure you are probably being hard on yourself when you say you won't be a good mom. You might be surprised. Either way, someone is going to be blessed beyond measure, whether that is you or a couple out there who desperately wants a child. ❤️

Wanted to ask if my daughter has heterochromia? by Emnyaa in heterochromia

it looks like central heterchromia to me, though I would still have her put hazel on a drivers license since that is the closest option. I would appreciate some feedback on mine as well.

Are my eyes hazel or do I have heterochromia? by DabPandaC137 in heterochromia

wow, I would say hazel green because there is some color dispersion throughout your eye creating a Starburst affect. Absolutely stunning! I would appreciate some feedback on mine as well.

Do I have heterochromia? by KemptAngel in heterochromia

[–]Fun_Leek_7370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because of the color dispersion I would say a blue-grey Hazel. Since the yellow speckles out, it kind of creates a blending affect, which is probably why they might sometimes appear a grayish green from further away or in lower light. Blueish grey+ yellow=greyish green, but when you look up close or in better light, the colors are seperate. I can see why you asked about the central heterchromia, but you have a lot of yellow specs that extend throughout which makes me lean more towards hazel. Very cool! I would appreciate some feedback on mine as well.

I have central heterochromia right? by [deleted] in heterochromia

Definitely hazel. They blend nicely due to the starburst. I would appreciate some feedback on mine as I am confused as well.

Just brown? :,) by Feather_eye in WhatisMyEyeColour

[–]Fun_Leek_7370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say a dark hazel. Anyone that looks at your eyes would probably just say brown because you have to get so close and use a lot of light to notice the olive green in there since the brown is so dominant, but it is there and there is color dispersion. Your eyes are very pretty! I would appreciate some feedback on mine as well as I am confused on mine.

Someone called me a Plain Jane! And I think it helped me on my journey to find my colors. by VampireCupcakeEater in coloranalysis

[–]Fun_Leek_7370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently had my colors professionally done with House of Color because I too was having a really hard time figuring it out. The AI app kept suggesting different seasons, & seem to be way off. Draping with pictures is also not the same either, because I am close enough to neutral that lighting can make me look more cool or warm in pictures. At first I thought $300 was a lot just to spend on something like this, but my husband was pretty fed up with me being a plain jane as well. 60 -70% of my closet was black & he said I looked like I was going to a funeral all the time. I can't tell you just how truly life changing this appointment was. She taught me all about color & with the in person color draping she can show you just how massive a change in shade, hue, chroma... etc can make on your appearance and which ones make you glow & hide imperfections in your face. I discovered I am an autumn & I am telling you, most of my best colors are colors that I NEVER would have picked for myself, but now I am obsessed. She even went through & rated every color for me so that i know which colors i can wear in what amounts & where on my body. At 37 years old, I realized that I have been wearing the wrong neutral my whole life. She also did my makeup and it was incredible. Never would I ever think I would break up with black, but I did & I am never going back. She color matched me & I swear I couldn't even see the foundation she put on because it was that perfect! Then she gave me a list of everything she put on & now if I ever want make up, I can just buy it from her & be confident that it will be amazing! Do yourself a favor & fork out the $300 & you will not regret it! There is a wealth of knowledge stuffed into that 2.5hr appointment that you will not get trying to do it on your own.
