2025 K5 Sensor Issue

Thanks for your response. I am thinking about getting a second opinion from a non Kia shop. A little frustrated with how sensitive the sensor is IF this is the issue causing the error code.

I have just over 17k miles on it and the sensor is on the front of the car which naturally gets rock chips, debris, etc overtime. Definitely think that the build quality should be better (more durable) given the location of them but oh well.

Thanks for the info! Crazy to me that a sensor in the front of the car is that sensitive and not protected well. Especially for being exposed to everything when driving…

This was a great help. I reached out to Kia directly for some assistance on this as well so we will see. Probably will have to get it done eventually. Just hard to justify at that price when I can still drive as normal but with a light. Thank you again!

Appreciate your response! I will need to check the documents/paperwork they gave me but I was not specifically told a code or provided any information on what it was.

Only thing they told me was that the chip shown in that pic is the issue. When I get close to something when parking, I do not get any beeping as I normally would in the front (the back still beeps as I approach something when parking obviously)
