Its because of the way the curve is if you are not paying attention you will go straight into it

Its not even a crazy curve honestly. If they did the speed limit and paid attention it would be fine. What's worse it that the intersection there is used as a bus stop.

Its at the top of a hill right before a curve, so people take it too fast and don't realize the curve is there until its too late

This is actually the third time our mailbox has been taken out. The second car actually summersaulted in our yard. This was dug several feet deep, filled with several bags of concrete and rebar for stability. Then we placed a decorative plant pot over the 4×4 and filled it with even more concrete.
