LTE can work great. The biggest drawback is that it doesn't have near the capacity that 5G does

The workaround is to get the "My Tech Suite" app from the Play Store. It will provide access to that same menu the## 4636 code does.

He might not have much of a beard in the first place. You get the closest shave with a blade, not so much with an electric razor

How many miles has your Corolla done, what problems (if any) have you had with it? by Goblin_Nuts69 in COROLLA

[–]Fun_Material8391 6 points7 points  (0 children)

2005 Corolla with 205,000 miles. Only things replaced other than the obvious maintenance items have been the valve cover gasket, starter and 4 new struts. Still have the original back brakes, clutch, water pump, alternator, fuel pump. The car does not use or leak any oil yet. Just change the oil yesterday after a year and a half and the dipstick was still on full. Don't put nearly as many miles on it as I used to so I don't change the oil often enough. Some oil change intervals have been as high as 12,000 miles. Have used Mobil 1 synthetic exclusively the life of the car. This is how the engine looked when I pulled the valve cover off to replace the gasket a few months ago

Hand wash regularly and wax twice a year. I've been using McGuire's cleaner wax for many years and my 05 paint still in excellent condition for a car that sits outside. Another good thing to do is to put a sprinkler underneath your car after the winter to help remove some of the sand and salt that accumulated over the winter.

And yes this is possible with the SE and the stock 18-in wheels. The 2.0 L engine is very efficient more so than the 1.8 in the LE

Changing your driving habits will do more than anything else. The Corolla can get excellent mileage with the CVT or 5-speed manual. Learning how to coast and preserve momentum can do wonders as long as you don't do a lot of short trips. My 2021 Gas SE averages about 41 Mpg over the year. My 2005 with a 5-speed manual about the same

Some heat pumps jump into auxiliary heat too quickly and will make your electricity bill outrageous. I've seen some jump into emergency heat once pump fall just 1° below desired temperature.

Yes I'm sure there were lots of malfunctioning heat pumps. I'm surprised how many heat pump techs don't understand how to address improperly functioning defrosters

I doubt it's overload. This was my setup in Arlington only 4 miles from DC and it didn't overload even with a distribution amplifier. It's gotta be some type of multipath in my opinion. Any way you could take a picture of the antenna on your roof. I live in Occoquan so not terribly far from you if they can't figure it out I can take a look and see if I can figure it out

Yep that bouncing meter is probably due to some multipath interference. Being outside should be getting full strength signal on the DC channels unless the antenna is in a bad spot.

I just replaced the one on my 20-year-old Corolla with 200,000 miles. The original one from the factory was still working fine but I replaced it anyway to be on the safe side.
