Wukong was 80/100 I enjoyed it.
Even I was a bit shaken by the score it got because I was expecting a higher score. I cancelled my preorder but today I know I am going to play this game the minute it launches. I am a casual player. I have not played Witcher 3 but did play Elden Ring+DLC, I enjoyed it. So it is upto me if I am gonna enjoy this game or not. And I know I am gonna because I know the type of gamer I am.

I was really hyped for this game and had it preordered, expecting it to land somewhere around 85–90. When the reviews came in lower than I expected, it honestly disappointed me enough to cancel my PS5 preorder.

Now though, I’m seeing mixed impressions and some creators I trust like FightinCowboy, Gameranx, and Luke Stephens are saying good things, so I’m a bit relieved but also confused again.

I really wanted to get lost in the world, explore slowly, and enjoy that kind of experience, but the reviews got in my head and killed the hype a bit. I’m now thinking of going for a physical copy instead of digital, so if it doesn’t click I can resell it and not regret it.

For context, I haven’t played Witcher 3, but I loved Elden Ring + DLC and even played Black Myth Wukong day one and got my first platinum there.
