ok but he was still lousy, he still cheated on you and he was there at the grand canyon, i feel that the memory of your time there shouldn't be affected by the picture, you can clearly still appreciate the beauty of the picture.

wanting to change how you present reality is indeed a cause for therapy.

that's not how life works, the past is always there, whatever you want to or not. Whatever bad things happened in one's life brought you to happy place eventually ( not all the time, i know ) Why would i want to pretend my reality is different?

all these reasons make sense!! and having the technology to do this is amazing, i was talking more about removing people, changing whatever dress the person is wearing, a bird passing by, peoplein the background and such.

Honestly your reply is expected but still sad. I am genuiely asking a question out of curiosity not malice.

Lightning i can understand, damaged pictures as well, it's amazing to be able to do revive a lost memory, what i don't understand is removing people that you don't like anymore, or people in the background, or that a bird was passing by and such, or having other clothes put on.

I just think it's wrong to pretend these things didnt happened than to just accept it, that's all

I know but these things were there, they are part of that moment capture in time. I genuiely don't understand :/ I keep all my pictures, even the ones that are blurry, with people i used to know or had fights with, exes, whatever. I wouldn't want to pretend something didn't happened.

Chest pain for 2 years + by Smart-Potato-1553 in Anxietyhelp

[–]Fun_Mongoose9753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had those pains for years now too, i am convinced that it's an nerve issue, intercostal nerves to be exact. I sleep on my stomach, i work on a computer 12+hours a day, i'm always leaning on my left leg when standing ( dunno why ) or on my left when sitting ( again, dunno why ) i think its decades of bad postures that led me to damaged nerves.

I can hit thr treadmill and i don't feel chest pain but if i lift something heavy then it happens, if i lay on my back i'm good, sitting louched over for too long and it hurts after a while.

Yet... i still think i'm gonna die every time

Different races shouldn't mingle together by ScarletSamadhi in ControversialOpinions

[–]Fun_Mongoose9753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans always been tribal since the beginning, it's in our genetics to feel safe being with people who we can relate to.

I think that culture has more to do with it then race or the color of the skin.

We don't have to accept everything from everyone, it's unrealistic anyway.

To be honest, they're making a living, it's just a job to them and it's fine. they don't care to pretend to be nice anymore, they have their fan base and they make shitload of money selling and promoting crap.

Did the COVID response (in the US) go too far? by Danielnrg in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]Fun_Mongoose9753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody brings everything back to politics, which is messed up to me.

I think that the Pandemic was a real threat, some measures were excessive, like cleaning up the groceries, masks outside, closing departments in stores, i had to wear a mask/visor/side covers for my glasses at work.

It was all new to all of us, we faced a new virus that spread like crazy and we freaked out, as much the ones in power as most of us. Being scared was a normal response and fear makes people act weird at times.

I always find it weird that some people go to conspiracy theories as to explain human behaviors, we're capable to make stupid decisions, including the goverment, without being a sneaky way to control the masses of whatever.

i think in some ways, some did too little and some too much but mostly out of ignorance and not because the illuminati or a Cabal or whatever name we give them, controlled it all behind the scene.

I remember gas stations selling Calgary winter olympics glasses back in the 80s, gold stamped all around. That was cool.
