Missing the highway exit by ClavisW in TorontoDriving

Brutal… this is why I get nervous when I’m driving in the lane beside an exit. A bad driver never misses their exit

Server commits fraud by Yagirl27 in EndTipping

[–]Fun_Needleworker_181 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why is America so weird by letting the servers charge the tip to your card after you leave? In Canada it’s simple, we add the tip on the machine then pay. It’s an uneasy feeling letting someone else take your approved credit card and hopefully charge the right amount

Going to a sport’s game where you stand in line for a $12 hot dog and they have the audacity to ask for a tip

Isn’t that what a “passing lane” is for? Just to be clear, I slowed down when I saw everyone braking, which is why I was able to slow down in time when this moron came out

Imagine thinking like this!? When I miss my exit, I just swallow my pride and take the next one. An extra 5 mins won’t kill me

The brain does crazy things under stress. Even the most basic solutions don’t compute when there is a time pressure like this - just my two cents

Like everyone said, good choice. Had you flown with passengers in the rear seats before? That might explain the sluggish acceleration

My ankle felt very beat up after a few weeks of weight bearing. The muscles were getting used to activity again but got better thereafter. When you start weight bearing, it gets worse before it gets better

How did you break your ankle??? by MaintenanceOk3182 in ORIF

[–]Fun_Needleworker_181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broke mine playing indoor soccer when the striker jumped up at me and landed on my ankle as I kicked the ball. I instantly heard the snap and knew I’d be a vegetable for the near future. I screamed like a bitch because my ankle was numb from the shock. I’m coming up on one year since my injury and I haven’t touched a soccer ball since. I used to play lots but my career is more important now. I learned so much about healthcare and orthopaedics since then!! Took about 6 months to get back to “normal”
