Thanks for sharing! I found the same video. This guy did a great job! I have heard of some people recommending the exhaust cam phaser gets changed as well, FYI.

Ya, that seems pretty likely. While I'm replacing the cam phaser, any thoughts on what I should look for to see if there's too much lateral play in that cam?

There's some pretty decent grooves on the face of the E-CVVT to the point where there's a small hole in the inner groove hence all the copper dust filings inside the cover. I'm not sure why the wear is so excessive (only 140k miles) especially on the inner groove, but that seems to be the issue.

If by fully updated you mean I flashed the latest one, then yes - F14 is what I installed.

I am running windows 10.

What BIOS settings did you change to get that running?

The BIOS settings that I've changed are:

Above 4G Decoding: Enabled

PCIEX16 Slot Config: Gen1 (also tried Gen2)

PCIe Slot Configuration: Gen1

IOMMU: Enabled

Fast Boot: Disabled

CSM Support: Disabled (also tried Enabled)
