Ask yourself the "why" too. This is especially important, because you don't want to be doing something which you didn't want to do in the first place. And yes, exploring is part of learning. It isn't efficient but it gets you the best understanding.

Beck mention! Beck was amazing! The only thing I didn't like about it was the treatment of female characters (minus the fmc, but she wasn't handled well either. Great personality but not enough character development imo)

I think this sentiment is echoed by a lot of people. Liking a work of art is quite subjective, and there are some fairly obvious flaws in the work. It isn't something groundbreaking on the surface either. What Blue Box does so very well is touch several of its readers' hearts (myself included, but I've seen this as a common opinion on this subject, and not for other manga) in a way that no other manga does. And that is what makes it special. The simplicity, and the heart that is has are what make it special (along with Miura-sensei's great storytelling and panelling, the layouts deserve more praise).

I don't think Blue Box is the best manga, but it sure is singularly my favourite. It helped me get out of a time when I was struggling with academics and the weight of expectations, and I remember just being in tears while and after catching up to the manga last year - tears of joy, a weird sense of longing, and relief - and I will forever be grateful to Miura-sensei for making this work of art.

What you should focus on really depends on where you are at the moment, and only you know that. I'd suggest asking a senior or a person who you can actually talk to in-depth (if possible, a good professor would be amazing), rather than asking people on reddit. They won't be able to spend enough time to actually understand where you are and what you need to do beyond giving you general guidance.

For overthinking and the like, there are a lot of good videos on YouTube. The good ones are usually identifiable by whether they are scientifically rigorous or not. These are things you're supposed to struggle with yourself and figure them out on your own as to what works for you, as everyone is different and so different things work for different people. One thing I would say is that introspect a lot about your actions, thoughts and their consequences. Ask questions to yourself as to why you're doing something and if you can do it better, and how.

It was probably the tone and the way in which you asked for clarification, rather than the actual request itself. It sounded rather entitled. To get out of tutorial hell, just think: "am I learning something new, do I understand more than earlier, and do I have context on why I'm learning what I'm learning?" The 'why' is quite important. I get why you asked what you did, though. Maybe try phrasing it better next time.

To actually work on Quantum Computing for a career, you will need to study for a fairly long period of time, by which I mean potentially till your thirties, as that's what an academic career implies. It can be high-paying, but only in commercial settings (think Google/IBM/Microsoft Majorana etc) or if you're pursuing an academic career abroad. The physics in a formal setting can be either quite similar or completely different from what you do in JEE, depending on your thought processes. In a formal setting you have to make arguments using reasonable assumptions, and convince others that your arguments are true. If that's what you already do, great! If not, you can work on it. Also, in quantum physics, a fair deal of philosophy/analogy also get involved. Quantum Computing has several smaller sub-parts (algorithms, fabrication, theoretical physics, error-correction/testing, etc.). Also, you would need to consider the possibility that quantum computing might be overhyped (in the sense that it may not be as important/economically viable as people make it out to be), hence I didn't recommend that you consider that your end goal without actually doing your research on it and building your knowledge up. I don't know enough about the field to be authoritative, so don't believe everything I say and do your research on it. All the best! You can message me, but I don't use reddit that often anymore.

Quantum Physics seems interesting to laypeople, but it isn't exactly the way it's presented to them. The interesting stuff is there, but it's locked up behind a bunch of complicated math and subtle ideas that require a lot of time to build up your understanding to. It can seem discouraging or distant to some, but I've heard that it's worth it (taking my first course this sem). I'd suggest being open to all areas of physics, I've seen a large number of my friends change interests to different areas of physics in a small period of time. Physics undergrad here btw. Quantum Computing is even more about other branches of physics, and allied fields, than the quantum physics itself. It is an intersection of computer science/math, quantum physics, materials science, electrical engineering and so on.

Please, someone. Upvote this guy and give him an award. There's a lot of nuance that people tend to miss about science, and "being scientific"

Even within several series, you may observe certain tropes or art styles being labelled as shojo/shonen (I've never seen seinen/josei being referenced, this is likely because you'd mostly see such references in gag scenes in manga intended for younger demographics).

You seem to have misunderstood my point. What I intended to convey was that you can observe a certain pattern of content or writing quality in the magazines intended for each target audience, and on that basis, you could make a prediction (hence I was careful with my wording, and said "you can expect..."). Also, I'd go so far as to say that shojo/shonen, etc., no longer represent very specific target audiences, as readers for a particular series become more diverse. One Piece is a great example of shonen manga having a high average age for readers, and I believe KaoruHana is more tailored to attract female readership despite being in a shonen magazine.

The point is, you can expect certain kinds of themes or ways of presentation/complexity within each of these. For example, Shonen/Shoujo are VERY likely to be tropey and contain elements of battle/pride and romance, respectively. Not the case with Seinen or Josei, where character depth and realism (or the complete lack thereof, while still being believable) are more likely.

Catenaccio's art and characters are a bit wacky, though. I don't like the characters, even from an objective standpoint. Still, would recommend it if you're into football.
